Grunge 大好き女のLyraですが、PopsもHeavy MetalもPunkもreggae も好きな為、色々取り上げてしまう。

今年もこの日がやって来たから、Grunge好きとしては、かなりヘヴィーな日である。
４月５日と夏の某日はLyraの頭がボウ〜と天空に想いを馳せる日…つまり
大好きなヴォーカリスト達が天国に召された日だから。
諸事情で書くのが今年は遅れちゃいましたが、迷いに迷い、やはりKurt Cobainを偲ぶ和訳と解説を先に書きましょう。 (Sorry Layne, Wait a minite.gonna write that for you.)
この前のKurtのお誕生日の日に彼のラブソングを和訳＆解説した時にも話しましたが、実は彼の曲を和訳したままの曲が幾つかある為、そちらをUPしたいのだけど、話の中心がKurtにならない為、今回も先に伸ばします。
やはりKurtが話題の中心にならないとね、命日は。
人の生き死を目の当たりにするのは辛い。あの経験は2度としたく無いと思う。
そう言った意味では、Kurtもあの人達も、自分の家族では無いし、親友でも彼氏でも無い。
だけど毎日聴いていたアーティスト達で、辛い時も悲しい時もいつも側にいてくれたような存在なのだ。
苦悩してる歌詞を聴いて自分の気持ちに擬えたり、後ろ向きな歌詞に一緒にドツボったり、ただの言葉遊びの歌詞にもパワーを貰ったり、悟りを開いたり(笑)。
あのボロボロ・ジーンズの穴やセーターの穴は、Lyraのこころに空いた穴であり、世間を風通しよくする為の逃げ道だったのかもしれない。
Kurt Cobainの音楽を聴いてると、自分が悩んでいても良いんだって気になる。
そして、音楽を本気で楽しむことが、自分の生き方なんだと再確認する宝物なのだ。
