日本では放送がまだ未定のウォーキング・デッドのスピンオフ作品たち。

この【ウォーキング・デッド: ダリル・ディクソン　The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon】も、2023年9月10日からプレミアムのAMC+ にて普通のAMCより早く放送開始しました。アメリカで普通のAMCを見てる方は、来週9月17日から開始します。日本では【Dead City】同様、未だ放送なし、未定です。

2023年9月10日から放送開始した【The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon】では、ダリルがいつもよりも傷を負い孤独た姿で、1人未知の国で冒険(試練とも言う)しています。ある意味、修行の旅だ。

『ウォーキング・デッド: ダリル・ディクソン』は、そのタイトル通り、大人気キャラクターであるダリル・ディクソンに基づいて、デヴィッド・ザベルがAMCのために制作したアメリカの黙示録的ホラードラマテレビシリーズです。

これは、ウォーキング・デッド・フランチャイズの5番目のスピンオフであり、全体では6番目のテレビシリーズになります。

他のシリーズと連続性を共有していて、時系列は、オリジナルの【ウォーキング・デッド】テレビシリーズの終了後に設定されています。

2.ミニ情報

シリーズの構想は2020年9月に始まった。当初はキャロル・ペルティエが登場する予定だったが、女優のメリッサ・マクブライドが関わる物流上の問題により彼女は降板となり、シリーズの焦点はダリルだくに移った。しかし、今年に入って2023年6月にメリッサ・マクブライドが何らかの形で彼女のキャラクターとして番組に出演すると報じられている、

シリーズのタイトルは昨年2022年10月に発表され、同月パリで撮影開始。11月から追加キャストが開始された。 『ウォーキング・デッド：ダリル・ディクソン』は2023年9月10日に初放送され、6つのエピソードでシーズン1は完結する予定です。 2023 年 7 月、第 1 シーズンのリリースに先駆けて、シリーズは第 2 シーズンまでやると、更新されました。

3.キャラクター配役

ノーマン・リーダスは、長年演じて来たオリジナルのテレビシリーズのダリル・ディクソン役を再演し、クレマンス・ポエジー、ルイ・ピュエシュ・シグリウッツィ、ライカ・ブラン＝フランカール、アン・シャリエ、ロマン・レヴィ、アダム・ナガイティスが新キャラクターを演じています。

☆Daryl Dixon ダリル・ディクソン

このドラマの主人公、ダリル・ディクソン。大人気キャラクターで。ノーマン・リーダスが演じています。

元々は原作にはなかったキャラクターだったのですが、ノーマンのキャラを気に入った制作サイドがTVシリーズのみのオリジナルキャラとして作り出しました。放送開始後に、主役のリックを超えるほどの人気を得て、今日までの12年近くサバイバルして生き残って来たキャラクターです。

ダリルは、熟練したハンターであり、アレクサンドリアの元リクルーターで、本作【ウォーキング・デッド】のリック・グライムズのグループの一員。そしてRickの右腕とも言える互いに信頼し合っていたバディでした。

そのため行方不明になってしまったリックを救出するために、1人グループを離れて旅に出たのです。

それなのに、今回、何故かアメリカから遠く離れた異国の地でダリルは発見されます…なぜ？

 

Norman Reedus as Daryl Dixon: A skilled hunter and former recruiter of Alexandria who was once a part of Rick Grimes’ group on The Walking Dead.

Originally, this character was not in the original work, but the production team liked Norman’s character and created him as an original character only for the TV series. After the show began airing, it became a character that became even more popular than the main character, Rick, and has survived for nearly 12 years to this day. Daryl is a skilled hunter, former recruiter for Alexandria, and a member of Rick Grimes’ group on The Walking Dead. He was also Rick’s right-hand man, a buddy who trusted each other. Therefore, he leaves his group and sets out on a journey to rescue Rick, who has gone missing. And yet, this time, for some reason, Daryl is discovered in a foreign land far from America…why?

☆Isabelle イザベル

イザベルは、ダリルがフランスで出会うシスター・イザベルでその名の通り修道女です。見た目は普通の修道院ですが、実は進歩的な考えを持つ宗教団体で、イザベルは、その団体の中でも発言権がある頑固な修道女ですね。クレマンス・ポエジーが演じています。かなり不思議な力を持っているのですが…。

☆Laurent ローラン

ローランは、イザベル達修道女達に育てられた少年。ルイ・ピュエシュ・シグリウッツィが演じています。

宗教団体から人類を再生に導く未来の救世主とみなされている非常に知的な少年。ただドラマを見ていると、それだけでなく不気味な一面もあり、イザベルと同じ、もしくはそれ以上の超能力を持っているのではないか？と思われます。

この子が、ダリルをどう導くか？で明暗が分かれそうですよ〜ん。ウフッ。

シルヴィは、イザベルと同じ修道院にいた女性です。第1話で色々あるのですが、生き残ってダリル達と一緒に行動することに。ライカ・ブラン＝フランカールが演じています。

• Laïka Blanc-Francard as Sylvie. Sylvie was a woman who lived in the same convent as Isabel. A lot of things happen in the first episode, but she decides to survive and go with Daryl and the others. Played by Laika Blanc-Francard.

☆Genet ジュネ

 

大義のリーダー。大義は、恐ろしい兵士達もいる団体で、ダリルを追いかけいます。アン・シャリエが演じています。ダリルの敵対者であるだけでなく、アウトブレイクの生存者でもあります。シーズン 1 の主要な敵対者として怖い存在ですね。

• Anne Charrier as Genet: The leader of the Cause. Genet (first name unknown) is a main character and an antagonist, as well as a survivor of the outbreak in AMC’s The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. She is the leader of the Cause and serves as the primary antagonist of Season 1.

コドロンは、大切な人をダリルに殺されたと思い、ダリルに復讐してやろうと恨みを持っている兵士。大義の上級メンバーでもあります。ロマン・リーヴァイが演じています。

☆Quinn クイン

 

クイン。デミモンドと呼ばれるパリの地下ナイトクラブのオーナーで、ゾンビ黙示録の後、有力な人物となった人。　アダム・ナガイティスが演じています。

ファルーは、『ウォーキング・デッド：ダリル・ディクソン』に登場する予定のアウトブレイクの生存者。彼自身のコミュニティがあるようで、そこのリーダーです。エリック・エボアニーが演じています。

☆Coco ココ

Demimondeで演じているパフォーマー。アポカリプス以前は学生だった。実際にドラッグクイーンのPalomaが演じています。

一瞬ココって名前だから「ロジータの娘か？！」とビビってしまいましたが、あのかわい子ちゃんはアメリカにいるはずだし、ここはおフランスだから違うでしょう。クインと言い、同じ名前が出て来るから焦る(笑)。

☆Carol Peltier キャロル…

がゲスト枠でいたんだが…さっき見たらクレジットから名前が消されてる⁈やはり、まさかの降板か?? 数時間前まで名前が書いてあったのに?? 去年降板して→今年になってゲストで出演が決まったのに再度、降板とは??

 

キャロルとダリルは深い信頼関係があるので、知らない方のため、又、知っている方には「キャロルを思い出してLyraと一緒にしんみりしましょう」ということでキャロルの解説を簡単にしておきますね。

かつて王国で「女王」キャロルとして知られていたキャロル・ペルティエ（旧姓不明）は、『ウォーキング・デッド』のメインキャラクターの1人であり、アウトブレイクの生存者です。Melissa McBrideメリッサマクブライドが演じています。

Carol Peletier (née unknown), formerly known as “Queen” Carol by the Kingdom, is a main character and a survivor of the outbreak in AMC’s The Walking Dead. During the initial outbreak, she evacuates with her abusive husband, Ed. and their daughter, Sophia, to Atlanta. They eventually join a camp of survivors. In the events following her daughter’s disappearance, Carol forms a close, loving bond with fellow survivor, Daryl Dixon.

After discovering that her daughter was bitten and reanimated, Carol, now the last surviving member of her family, gradually builds inner strength, becoming increasingly proficient with weapons, and gains medical experience through Hershel Greene’s assistance. Later on, she becomes the parental guardian of Lizzie and Mika Samuels after the death of their father, albeit briefly. Upon her arrival at the Alexandria Safe-Zone, Carol briefly forms a romantic relationship with fellow Alexandrian Tobin and becomes an adviser to Rick Grimes following Hershel’s death.

Following the end of the war against the Saviors, Carol moves to the Kingdom. She later marries Ezekiel and becomes Henry’s adoptive mother.
