和訳【Hero Of The Day /Metallica】考察 Lars Ulrichについて

Larsのあのパワフルdrummingが大好き！

あの重さのあるドラムサウンドがあるから、James達のヘヴィなギターが映えるのよ。

あと笑えるキャラクターも好きだな。

メタラーには知られているが、この写真の満面の笑みのまんまが彼の性格で、フレンドリーで話すのが好きなのだ。

通常の宣材写真では、アレ、HM仕様に格好つているだけ。

本来のLars Ulrich はお喋り好きのオッチャン。

その明るいキャラクターが大好き。

彼はコンポーザーとしても関わっているから、サウンド面に影響を与えているのは当たり前なのだが、この屈託のない明るさが、ヘヴィな内容を楽曲で取り上げていても、陰湿にならずにLAの空のようにカラッと快晴なのだと思うの。

今夜はLars の誕生日祝いとして、Metallicaのメジャーコードの曲を和訳しちゃおう！

今日はKeith のバースデイ 記念に彼の「最近の(2015年)アルバムから和訳と解説をしよう」と和訳してたら、アレよ。またいつもの「今日の気分じゃない」が始まっちゃいました。

今日の気分は丸っ切り違う気分。

でもマッチするのが見つからない為、KeithがR&Rなクリスマスソングをカヴァーしたものを紹介するね。

Keithの憧れだったChuck Berryが有名な作曲家たちの曲をプレイした作品をカヴァーしたもの。

アメリカがまだ夢物語みたいなアメリカンドリームで煌めいていた時代の香りがプンプンするRock’n’Roll Christmas を寒い夜にお届け〜♪
