シンガーソングライターは、今人気の面々がタッグを組み(Songwriter 参照)、パフォーマンスするのは、今人気絶頂のアメリカン・ラッパーであり、シンガーソングライター、レコードプロデューサーの Post Malone (Austin Richard Post 1995年7月4日- )。

Austin Richard Post (born July 4, 1995), known professionally as Post Malone, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. Post Malone has gained recognition for blending various musical genres, for his introspective songwriting, and his laconic vocal style.

Khalif Malik ibn Shaman Brown (born June 7, 1994), known professionally as Swae Lee, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He is one half of the hip hop duo Rae Sremmurd with his brother Slim Jxmmi. In 2017, he was featured on the single “Unforgettable” by French Montana, which reached the top three on the US Billboard Hot 100. His debut studio album, Swaecation was released on May 4, 2018, as a part of a triple-album set, which also contained the studio albums SR3MM by Rae Sremmurd, and Jxmtro by Slim Jxmmi.

Sunflower” marks the second collaboration by Post Malone and Swae Lee. The song is part of the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse soundtrack.

A sunflower is a symbol of loyalty and longevity because of the flower’s ability to retain its beauty in the face of environmental factors that would leave other flowers wilted. The sunflower in this song represents a girl – a woman who’s shown persistence, despite a lack of affection shown to her.

This mystery girl ends up being the subject matter for both Post Malone and Swae Lee. In their verses, the girl seems to be trying much harder in the relationship than either of the two stars. However, even after all of the poor treatment the girl has received, she remains by Post and Swae’s side.

Post first teased the song at the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on October 1, 2018. He then confirmed on Facebook that the song would include Swae Lee. Two snippets from the lyric video were shown on both of their Instagram accounts on October 15th, 2018.

アメリカや世界各国で大人気のラッパーPost MaloneはJustin Beaver ジャスティン・ビーバーなど有名人とコラボしたりプロデュースしたりで、引っ張り出このラッパーだ。ニューヨーク州シラキュース生まれ。

彼は見るからに変わり者。

写真では必ず煙草をくゆらしている、影響を受けた音楽から来る出で立ち。

普通ラッパーというとスニーカー自慢になるくらいなのに、Post Maloneは、好きな靴にブーツを挙げる、ラッパー界でも変わり者だ。

そして、「Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse」というタイトルから分かるもう一つは、「複数のスパイダーマンが登場する世界」だということ。

原案は、2014～2015年にコミックで展開された一大イベント「スパイダーバース」で、異なる次元に登場する多数のスパイダーマンが共演する物語だ。

ミュージックビデオを見ると、「二人目」が出てきているのが分かるが、ほかに何人のスパイダーマンが登場することになるかは、まだわからない。
