雰囲気がアル or ナイの違いって何だろう？
生き様が顔に出るってのは、経験や月日が関係するから、形成されるのに時間がかかる。
良い感じに楽しい生き方をしている事や、幸せが顔に滲み出て「良い顔になりたい」なんて、密かに思っていたりもする。
それと同じで、格好良いのに雰囲気がなくてありきたりでダサい人がいたり、見た目はそんなに〜なのに雰囲気があってオシャレに見えちゃう人もいる。
それも時間が蓄積されないと形成されない場合もあるが、その人のセンスの良さな気がする。
沢山の情報の中から素敵な物を取り出す能力も、センスがないとpick up出来ないし、定番の物も個性的に見えたり、自分の雰囲気にしてしまえるのもセンスのある無しだと思う。
それって生まれ持ったものだと思うけど、たくさんのものを見たり、勉強して手に入れられるものだとも思う。
その為にはいつも気持ちをオーブーに。
そして、視界をクリアーに。
世界を見るのだ。

1994年にVocal& Guitar のCourtney Taylor-Taylor と Guitarの Peter Holmströmが中心となって結成したオルタナティブ・ロックバンドである。

“Bohemian Like You” is a song by American alternative rock band The Dandy Warhols. The song was written by frontman Courtney Taylor-Taylor after seeing a woman pull up in her car to the traffic lights outside his apartment. It was released as the second single from the band’s third studio album, Thirteen Tales from Urban Bohemia, in August 2000.
The Dandy Warhols are an American alternative rock band, formed in Portland, Oregon in 1994 by singer-guitarist Courtney Taylor-Taylor and guitarist Peter Holmström. They were later joined by keyboardist Zia McCabe and drummer Eric Hedford. Hedford left in 1998 and was replaced by Taylor-Taylor’s cousin Brent DeBoer. The band’s name is a play on the name of American pop artist Andy Warhol.

知り合い集めただけのビデオなのに、雰囲気があるビデオになっているのが、彼らのセンスの良さをかんじる。
この曲のミュージックビデオは論争の的となっていたのだから、ヒットしていた証拠かも。
それは、正面の男性とトップレスの女性のヌードが含まれているから。
その為、日中にテレビで放送されることはアメリカでは殆どない。
ただ一部の音楽チャンネルで再生すると、これらの領域はピクセル化されて放送される時もあるみたい。
場所は、カラオケバー（実際にはオレゴン州ポートランドのスラブタウンバー、2014年に閉店）で演奏しているバンド= Dandy Warholがメインなんだが、、、それよりも、周りのガヤみたいな人たちがヴォーカルを取り目立ってしまうのが面白い。
よく見るとテレビ画面の下には、カラオケバーの歌詞がついたビデオがインターカットされてるから、凝っているな、と思う。
詞の通りに話が進み、先ずは、男性が彼女の友達と車を修理している若い女性に近づいていき、両方とも魅力のしるしとしてお互いに歌詞を軽薄に歌っているの。
男性は女性にとても惹かれ、彼女の下半身をじっと見つめ、そして彼女の裸を視覚化→だから裸になってる、と言うか裸にしたのよね。
その後、テーブルで顧客のグループにサービスを提供している間、ビデオはウェイターに切り替わり、また、グループの女の子の1人がウェイターにポッとなり惚れたから、2人は浮気を始め、歌詞を2節まで2人で歌い、彼女は彼を裸で視覚化→裸にしちゃう、という歌詞に忠実なビデオなの。
ビデオでは、ウェイターと車を修理していた整備士が同じ「パッド」に住んでいることが判明したり、 3節の歌詞から、ウェイターがメカニックの女の元ボーイフレンドである可能性も出て来てしっちゃかめっちゃかになって行く、、、整備士と彼女の新しい愛の始まりから、レストランの女性はネグリジェを着てカーテンから現れ、 ウェイターの手を取り、彼を連れて行く、ビデオは、カラオケバーの歌詞を模倣したビデオの登場人物と、腰にフラフープを回している男性が出て来て、大騒ぎで終わる、、、お金はかかっていないけど、バカらしくてハッピーな面白いパーティービデオに仕上がっていて面白いと思うし、男女関係の複雑さと皮肉を盛り込んだ歌詞にぴったりなビデオだと思う。

一度聞いたら忘れないメロディと、男の純愛と愛しい女との皮肉な愛憎関係が面白い歌詞がLyraは好きだ。
今でこそ、アメリカで大人気の彼らだが、実はこの曲をリリースしたばかりの2000年の時には、ヒットチャートでは42位と、バカ売れはしていなかった曲だった。
だが、2001年に英国この曲が、英国携帯会社VodafoneのCMに使われたことで、先ずはヨーロッパでヒットした。(“How Are You?” キャンペーン)
その当時、David Bowieの前座を務めたりもしたと言う。2004年には、The Brian Jonestown Massacreと共にドキュメンタリー映画『Dig!』に出演。

この曲を書いたr Courtney Taylor-Taylorが言うには、
「オレゴン州ポートランドの俺のアパートの外に車が停まっていたんだ。Dandy WarholsがEMIに署名する前、俺は整備士だったから、その車を知ってたんだよ。プライマークォーターパネルを備えた1980-81 BMW 320i、どこでも手頃な価格のBMW。
運転手は、黒のルーツを重ねたブリーチした髪とピンクのトップにシャツを着たこのクールな格好の女性だったよ。 ライトが変わり、彼女は消えた。ちょうど俺が、車が失速したのを見て、「ねえ、俺はそれを修理出来るぜ」と言うことができると思い始めたていたんだ。ただ言わない代わりに、【Bohemian Like You】が生まれたんだよ。」と実際にあった出来事を題材にしたことを語っている。
「ギターのパートが最初に来た、ローリング・ストーンズのハムフィストの模倣：ハンマーで打つ古典的な穴居人のブルースロックのリフ。 歌詞とタイトルは女の子–彼女の入れ墨、車–とダンディーズの当時の服装をまとめたもので、古着屋からヒントを得たよ。 母は俺たちをヒップスターと呼んでいたけど【Bohemian Like You】は【Hipster Like You】よりよく聞こえたよ。

勢いが感じられるサウンドは、実際に太めにしたドキドキを曲に詰め込んだからこそだ。
好きな女の為なら何でもするよ、てスタンスが好き。
かっこいい自由奔放な子と恋して、うまくいって、付き合い始めた。
が、彼女は元彼と住んでいる、彼氏は主人公がいると、嫌な顔をする、特にソファーに座っていると、、、
何だかTVのシットコムを見てるみたい。
リアルな男女の寸劇を目の前で見てるようで、ドキドキするし、皮肉が効いた会話も面白い。
センスだけで、こんなに楽しませてくれるのだから、自分らしさを(自分たちらしさ)を投影させるのは難しいけれど、すべてを面白くさせる技。

Lead singer Courtney Taylor-Taylor explained the song to The Independent.
A car pulled up outside my flat in Portland, Oregon. Before the Dandy Warhols signed to EMI, I was a mechanic, so I knew the vehicle: a 1980-81 BMW 320i with a primer quarter panel, the ubiquitous affordable BMW. The driver was this super-cool-looking woman with bleached hair piled up with black roots and a shirt worn over a pink top. The lights changed and off she went, just as I’d started thinking that if the car stalled, I could go down and say: “Hey, I can fix that.” Instead, I cranked out Bohemian Like You in around five minutes.
The guitar part came first, a ham-fisted imitation of the Rolling Stones: a classic caveman blues-rock riff to hammer on. The lyrics and the title summed up the girl – her tattoos, the car – and the way the Dandys dressed then, straight out of secondhand thrift stores. My mum called us hipsters, but “bohemian like you” sounded better than “hipster like you”.
I’ve always had recording equipment at my fingertips so was able to record the basics there and then. When we recorded it properly, I played the jungle drums in the middle but when we mixed it we chopped them over to the intro, and when they cut into Fathead’s drum fill it sounds like the same drummer.

The music video for the song has been the subject of controversy and is rarely broadcast on television during the day, since it contains full-frontal male and topless female nudity. However, when played on some music channels, these areas are pixelated.
The video shows the band playing in a karaoke bar(actually the Slabtown bar in Portland, Oregon, closed in 2014) while many different people mime to the lyrics of the song. This is intercut with a video accompanying the lyrics on the television screen at the bar. In this video, the scenes correspond with the lyrics. In the first verse, a man approaches a young woman who is fixing a car (a hearse, actually) with her friends. They both flirtatiously sing the lyrics to each other as a sign of attraction. The man is so attracted to the woman that he stares at her lower body and then visualizes her naked. Then the video switches to a waiter while he is serving a group of customers at a table. One of the girls in the group is attracted to the waiter and the two begin to flirt and mime the lyrics to the second verse. She visualizes him naked. It then turns out that the waiter and the mechanic who was fixing the car live in the same “pad”. From the lyrics in the third verse, it is likely that the waiter is the mechanic’s ex-boyfriend, as the man she was flirting with earlier is also with her. While the mechanic and her new love interest exchange a look, the woman from the restaurant emerges from a curtain wearing a nightgown. She then takes the waiter’s hand and pulls him away. The video ends with the characters from the video miming the lyrics in the karaoke bar along with many other people including a man spinning a hula hoop around his waist.
The song has been featured in several movies, including The Replacements, Summer Catch, Igby Goes Down, Clockstoppers, Flushed Away, Little Nicky, Foolproof, Delirious, and Man of the Year. Among the television series it has been featured on are Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Numb3rs, Six Feet Under, Daria, Fresh Meat (TV series), and Chuck. A very obvious variation of the song is used as the opening theme song for the American version of the game show Cash Cab. The song was also featured in season 7 of Dancing with the Stars for Cody Linley and Julianne Hough’s tango performance. For many years it has been the theme music for the BBC Radio phone-in show 6-0-6. It has also been featured in the PlayStation game Test Drive Le Mans in 2000.
In 2006, a mashup between the song and “Horny” by Mousse T. was released as the single “Horny as a Dandy”. It reached No. 17 in the UK charts.
The song was the subject of a minor controversy in 2011 when British conservative politician Theresa May played the song as she walked from a conference speech. It was initially speculated that the track was “Rocks” by Primal Scream, who posted a statement on their website condemning her “inappropriate” use of their song, calling her a “legalised bully” and “the enemy” After discovering the track was his, Dandy Warhols frontman Courtney Taylor-Taylor posted an angry tirade on the band’s official website, writing: “Why don’t these assholes have right-wing bands make them some right-wing music for their right-wing jerkoff politics? Oh, because right-wing people aren’t creative, visionary, or any fun to be around.”
In 2015, the song was played at the opening of John Bishop’s tour DVD Supersonic.
