Rolling Stones ローリング・ストーンズのギタリストであり、Jagger / Richards ジャガー/リチャーズ名義で様々な楽曲を作りヒットさせた作詞作曲家でもある。
別名義で「グリマー・ツインズ」としてプロデュースも行うプロデューサーの顔を持つ。

Run Rudolph Run is a Christmas song popularized by Chuck Berry, written by Johnny Marks and Marvin Brodie and published by St. Nicholas Music (ASCAP). The song was first recorded by Berry in 1958 and released as a single on Chess Records.
And Keith Richard’s 1978 Christmas single. most famously performed by Chuck Berry, Keith’s cover of “Run Rudolph Run” was originally released on Rolling Stones Records, with a B-Side of Jimmy Cliffs “The Harder They Come”.
The single was re-released in 2007 by iTunes, under the Mindless Records imprint. This time the song was bundled with a previously unreleased 2003 recording of “Pressure Drop” with Toots & The Maytals.

今の子供達が「欲しいものは何？」と聞かれたら、多分「ゲーム！」とか「スマホ」って言うんだろうな。
何となく寂しく思ってしまうLyraはアナログ好きの、時代遅れかな。
この曲の子供達は、格好良いパイロットになった気分に浸れるジェット戦闘機に、可愛い女の子達がママになった気分でお世話が出来るお人形だ。
古き良きアメリカの50sの漫画や映画、Norman Rockwellのような家族が思い浮かぶよ。
Keithも可愛らしい、と言うかKeithそっくりな娘ちゃん達と一途な奥様Pattyと楽しいクリスマスを過ごしているだろう。
78歳のKeithも元気で楽しく過ごして欲しい。
寒いイングランドにいたら、暖炉の前でギター弾きながPatty達に歌ってあげてるだろう。

He is best known as the co-founder, guitarist, secondary vocalist, and co-principal songwriter of the Rolling Stones.
