そして、彼とデュエットしている女性歌手で、シンガーソングライター、女優、活動家である Halsey ホールジーこと、Ashley Nicolette Frangipane アシュリー・ニコレット・フランジパーネ（1994年9月29日 – ）

ドラムでバンッと出ただけでTravisだわ、とわかる存在感が好きです。
Travis のドラミングの凄さは、blink-182の参加した最初のアルバムから、既にはっきりと分かってはいたの。
パワフルなだけでなく、技術も素晴らしいテクニシャンなドラマーだからね。
だけれど、最近、気分上げるために聴いていたら「懐かしいなあ」と言う想いからヘビロテになってしまい、好きだった曲のVideoを毎日見るまでに復活！
すると、改めてTravisの凄さに釘付けになっちゃってる、、、今更(笑)。
だからハマりすぎて、発売されてからずっと迷っていたTravisのBiography買っちまったわん！
ヤバイ、しばらく「Travis Love!」が続きそうよ。
皆んなLyraがかなりの刺青好きだと思っているみたい。
「Tattooだらけの男性だから好みなんだな」と、また誤解されそうだけど、刺青入っている人は、そんな好きじゃないと言うか、無い方が良い。けど、あればあったで良いって感じなの。上手く説明出来ないけど、、、。
TravisのDrumming の凄さと、Hip Hopやソウルやファンクなどの知識もあってプロデューサーもこなす才能と努力する姿勢、あとオルタナティブロックやRap のユニットにプロデュースする傍らドラムを体壊してまでも、どこのバンドに行っても全力で叩いてあげたりしている、、、そんな彼の才能とドラム馬鹿な所が好きなわけです。(ドクターストップかかってもライブやっちゃうドラム馬鹿)。
だから、刺青は無い方が好きだけど、好きな人にあったらあったで Kissしてあげる、って感じなの。美しいと思うのもあるしね。Artよ。
「なぜLyraは、いちいち今日、言うのかな？」と思う人もいるでしょう、、、なぜかと言うと、最近、色々聞かれるからなの。

【11 Minutes】は、YungbludのHalseyとのデュエット曲で、愛し合う2人の愛の物語であり、機能不全のバラードと言った内容だ。
実際にあった男女関係をベースにしている。
「完全なる現代の悲劇であり、若い2人は互いに完璧な存在。でも、現代のイデオロギーの境界線にいて離れ離れになってしまった。社会は第1に愛を思い描くだろうし、次に金や成功や力だろう。でも、2人は互いがいなくては生きて行けないと気づき、会うことになる。そして、彼女はメッセージを送るんだ、あなたの所から11分の場所にいるのに、、、てね。車の事故にあってしまったからだ。これは悲しみの5段階にいるのと同じだ。愛する人を11分くらいの(近い)場所で失った悲しみを持つ人間は、残りの人生をずっとこの時のことを繰り返しながら思い出して生きていくんだよ。誰も気づかないだろ、すっごく大切な人が突然、何かのせいであの世に連れていかれてしまうなんてね」
そうYungbludが語っているように、ミュージックビデオで、ベッドで寝てるのに目覚めて走り出していくのを繰り返しているのは、Haleyが演じている彼女が逝ってしまった時をYunbludが繰り返し思い出して苦悩しているのを表している訳。
もしくは、Butterfly Effectのように事故が起きるのを阻止しようとしているのだろう。
だから、さっきLyraは「ヘビーで悲し過ぎる」と書いたのよー。
もう、これ生き地獄よね。悪魔が人間に見せる生き地獄の中で一番最悪な刑とも言われている、無間地獄と同じだと気付いてLyraは怖くなったわ。
大好きな人を失いたく無い気持ち。
多分、それをYungbludは表したかっだのだと思う。

Dominic Harrison つまり Yungbludは、日本では認知度はまだ低いけど、地元イングランドで人気あるし、アメリカでも人気が急上昇中。
ロンドンを拠点として活動するHip Hopヒップホップと ロックの影響を受けたシンガーソングライター。
ヴィンテージギターのディラーをする父の影響でBob Dylan, The Clash, The Beatlesを聴いてきて、Hip Hop の影響がある彼は、2017年に19歳でシングル【King Charles】でデビューし、2018年にEP 『Yungblud】を配信リリースしてから今、アメリカやヨーロッパで大人気のHaleyとデュエットして、おまけにTravis Barkerにプロデュース& ドラムプレイしてもらえるのだから凄い成長ぶりだよ。

この【１１Minutes】のコラボレーションについてYungbludは、
「Halsey と Travis と一緒にやるのはまさに夢だったんだ。結局のところ、俺たちは全員ロック・キッズだからね。みんな、共通のロックというジャンルに対する愛着があったから、団結して新しいものとして作り上げていくというのは凄く当然のことだったんだよ」と語っている。

Travisって５歳の時からドラムを始めていて、勉強するためにJazzやファンクを聴いて育ったのもあり、彼自身はパンクドラマーでは無いと公言している。
これってパンクバンドをやっているのにパンクが嫌いなのか？と疑う人もいると思うけれど、Lyraが予想するに自分をパンクバンドのドラマーとか固定されて見られたり、枠組みに嵌められたく無いからだと思う。
自分はドラムが好きで、一生音楽で生きていくから、経験を積む為に何でも叩きたいし、何でもできるドラマーとして見てほしい、と考えているからじゃないかな？

This song was inspired by a true event. It is a “perfect” modern tragedy where two young people were perfect for each other but separated because they believed they had to fit in with the boundaries of modern ideologies – where society envisages “love” as secondary to money, success and power. However, after years apart they realize they cannot live without each other and decide to meet. The girl sends him a message letting him know that she is “11 minutes away.” Yet on the way to meet him she gets into a car accident. The song resembles the 5 stages of grief, where after losing someone those 11 minutes will forever repeat in the back of his subconscious for the rest of is life. You never realize how important something is to you, until it has been taken away.
Yungblud has expressed himself through his music as a “socially conscious artist unafraid of delivering genre-bending protest songs.”
His song “I Love You, Will You Marry Me” describes the true story of a man named Jason who proposed to a woman named Clare Middleton through graffiti on Park Hill that ended up being heavily commercialised and profited by apartment owners, but the woman died, and the man is homeless.
His grandfather performed with T. Rex in the 1970s. Yungblud studied theatre in lowercase at Arts Educational Schools, London before beginning his music career. His singles began attracting popularity in 2017, when his style was described as “the spitfire suburban poetry of younger Arctic Monkeys and Jamie T, fused with a healthy touch of ska and hip-hop spirit”. Ashley Nicolette Frangipane (/ˌfrændʒəˈpɑːni/; born September 29, 1994), known professionally as Halsey (/ˈhɔːlzi/), is an American singer and songwriter. Her initial recognition came from her self-released music posted on social media platforms, and in 2014, she was signed by Astralwerks after her song “Ghost” went viral on SoundCloud. Later that year, she released her debut EP, Room 93; to promote the EP and her debut studio album, she toured with larger acts. The debut studio album, Badlands (2015), debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 and was certified Platinum by the RIAA. “Ghost” was rereleased as the lead single from Badlands, and three new singles were released after, all of which were certified Platinum and achieved minor commercial success. To promote the album, Halsey embarked on her debut headlining world tour.
Travis Barker’s Born in Fontana, California, Barker began drumming at an early age. He began playing for the Aquabats in 1996, but left to join Blink-182 in 1998, which encountered mainstream success with Enema of the State (1999). Barker established himself as a versatile drummer, producing and making guest appearances in music projects of numerous music genres including hip hop, alternative rock, pop and country. He also starred in an MTV reality series named Meet the Barkers. He was involved in a plane crash in 2008, but he recovered and released his debut solo album, Give the Drummer Some, in 2011. He has continued to work with rappers, releasing extended plays with Yelawolf and Asher Roth and Nottz, as well as with Blink-182 and the Transplants.
